Driven To Achieve More...

As the first person in her family to earn a college degree, Kelly has always been driven to achieve more.  She graduated with her Bachelor of Business Administration  from Texas A&M-Commerce and hit the ground running. She began her career in lending in 2008 and transitioned into accounting in 2010. Since moving to the Longview area in 2012, Kelly has honed her skills as both a Controller and CFO in the manufacturing sector ranging from startup to publicly traded companies.

An Accomplished Business Professional...

In 2017, Kelly played a critical role in the startup of Baxter Packaging, a corrugated manufacturer in Longview.  She was able to apply her previous financial and managerial experience to aide in all aspects of creating their business.  As they have grown, it has been an honor to continue to serve in an advisory role for training and developing new employees as they create new jobs in the Longview area, as well as continued oversight in the financial aspects of their organization.  This particular experience allowed Kelly to realize that her true desire was to be able to help more businesses in the community she calls home.

Kelly attributes her drive and tenacious work ethic to the values instilled in her by her father.  As someone she greatly respects and admires, she saw him often times work multiple jobs in order to provide the best for his family.  One thing that instantly attracted Kelly to her husband and business partner, Robert, was his equal drive to excel and help others. In their “spare” time, they also operate three small businesses of their own and are very passionate about having a positive impact in the area that they live.

Kelly also has a deep knowledge of nonprofit and governmental accounting from having the opportunity to work for a large non-profit, specializing in budget planning and grant management.  In 2019, she tackled the budget that resulted in the award of a two-year grant that would provide services to five counties in Northeast Texas. Kelly is passionate about giving local businesses and nonprofits the skills and financial  confidence they need in order to grow their businesses and in turn, create new jobs in the community she calls home.
